Mini Orange Tennis is a great way for players to continue their progress from Mini Red Tennis and is for players aged 8* and 9.
Using slightly longer racquets than mini red (but still shorter than adult racquets), normal size tennis balls (but still 50% slower than normal tennis balls) and courts are bigger and wider than the mini red stage but still smaller than the full size tennis courts allowing players to develop a rounded game whilst learning a range of techniques and tactics.
Mini Orange Tennis is the next stage before playing on a full sized court and helps players develop different shots and tactics and you see a big physical development and spatial awareness as the children move up a size in court.
We run Mini Orange sessions every:
- Saturday 11:00 – 12:00
- Tuesday 17:30-18:30
- Thursday 16:30 -17:30

Ball
A mini orange ball is used which is 50% slower than a normal tennis ball, giving young players more time to develop control at this important stage of development.
